Collision Protection Post – Hitachi Energy

We recently supplied collision protection posts to our customer Transtema for a charging station project in Ludvika. Transtema has installed two ABB Terra 124 chargers with a payment terminal in the parking area at Hitachi HVDC.

The project has included everything from groundwork – including cable laying, foundation work, and asphalting – to the installation of chargers and the payment terminal, as well as the commissioning of the entire facility.

An important part of the project requirements was to ensure collision protection in front of the chargers. In addition, Transtema chose to add an extra post in front of the payment terminal for additional protection.
