Environmental Policy
Pretec AB shall strive to continuously improve environmental performance and reduce both global and local environmental impact by:
- Staying updated on and complying with relevant environmental legislation and other environmental requirements.
- Working to encourage partners to reduce their environmental impact through good communication and raising awareness regarding the environmental effects of our products.
- Maintaining good communication with customers to raise awareness regarding the environmental impact of our products.
- Setting reasonable environmental requirements when purchasing products and consumables, as well as on contractors and suppliers.
- Reducing waste, minimizing resource use and energy consumption.
- Planning and striving to minimize negative environmental impact from truck and sea freight deliveries, business trips, and personal travel.
- Training staff to increase environmental awareness and reduce the risk of accidents and hazards.
- Working to streamline and thus minimize chemical consumption as well as handle and use chemicals in a way that reduces the risk of emissions to soil and water, thereby protecting the environment.
- Actively working to reduce scrap disposal and thereby decrease our total environmental impact.
Quality Policy
Pretec AB’s philosophy is to work closely with the market. We keep a wide range in stock to offer fast deliveries and high delivery reliability.
Customer and other relevant stakeholders’ requirements shall be established and communicated to relevant staff. The description of our products shall be correct and provide our customers with sufficient information.
Our products must meet all relevant legislative requirements, quality standards, and the requirements set by our customers and other stakeholders, regardless of whether the products are manufactured by us or our subcontractors.
Our work with developing the range, products, workflows, deliveries, etc. is ongoing.
Our business idea is to become the leading supplier within a selected area of fastening elements for the construction and civil engineering market.
Management System
The management system at Pretec AB is designed to ensure that we can meet the requirements imposed on us by our stakeholders. Our management system clarifies our responsibilities and commitments towards society, customers, suppliers, employees, and the organization.
We work with clear routines and processes to ensure the quality of our work. It is not only about quality control but about securing everything we do at Pretec AB. We also continuously develop our processes and methods as part of our quality and environmental work. All employees at Pretec AB contribute to ensuring the system is followed in their daily work.
Our management system consists of several areas integrated into one common system. We are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EN 1090. In addition, we work with BASTA registration and are registered with other organizations such as Achilles, Sellica, and the contractors’ supplier portals.
The management system covers the entire business of Pretec AB. Other companies in the group are not included in the management system. We sell, among other things, embedded parts, fastening and assembly components, transport anchors, tie rod systems, tunnel and rock reinforcement, and Lindapter.
