Himmerfjärden Wastewater Treatment Plant

The project extends between Stenkullen in Lerum Municipality and Ingelkärr in Ale Municipality, covering a total of 17 kilometres of 400 kV overhead power line. Planning and design for the contract began in March 2022, and by January 2023, the production phase and construction start were underway.

The new line is an important part of strengthening the transmission network in Västra Götaland. 400 kV is the highest voltage used in Sweden for alternating current power transmission.

Pretec has had the privilege of supplying several different components for the project. The project uses Pretec’s foundation bolts/ground screws and various accessories for pole foundations of high-voltage towers.
