Hisings Bridge

The old Götaälv Bridge was replaced by a new lift bridge made of steel and concrete.

One bridge abutment is located between Ringön and Frihamnen, and the other in the Central District. The so-called Hisingsbron has a clearance height of 12 metres.

Skanska-MTH is the contractor, and Tunga Lyft AB is the subcontractor. We at Pretec supplied threaded rods and Lindapter components for the project to ensure the bridge girders are securely held in place.
