Platinan

Platinan consists of 18 floors with approximately 60,000 square metres of office space, hotel facilities, and meeting areas. Vasakronan was the developer, and Peab served as the builder. KONE was chosen as the elevator contractor for the project and installed a total of two escalators, 26 elevators, and one lift table.

The project is unique in Gothenburg, with a strong focus on sustainability. It was built in accordance with the LEED environmental certification system, with the highest rating, Platinum, as its goal. The building also features striking architecture, with transparent glass façades and abundant greenery that bring life and movement both inside and outside the structure.

We at Pretec supplied embedded and assembly components for the project, including elevator lifts and anchor channels, as well as fastening and mounting details such as custom-made beams with welded mounting rails from our workshop for the elevator shafts. Our SB bolts were also used in this project to secure the elevator beams to the wall supports.
