Power line for Svenska Kraftnät

The project runs between Stenkullen in Lerum Municipality and Ingelkärr in Ale Municipality, covering a total of 17 kilometres of 400 kV overhead power line. Planning and design for the contract began in March 2022, and in January 2023 the production phase with construction start could begin.

The new line is an important part of strengthening the transmission network in Västra Götaland. 400 kV is the highest voltage used in Sweden for alternating current power transmission.

Pretec has had the privilege of supplying several different components for the project. Pretec’s foundation bolts and ground screws, along with various accessories for pole foundations of high-voltage towers, are being used.
