The project is expected to run from 2019 to 2023, during which two new hospital buildings will be constructed with a total floor area of approximately 67,000 square meters – an increase of about 35 percent compared to the current facilities.

The hospital has long outgrown its facilities, but this major investment also means it will become a modern emergency hospital with the capacity to accommodate both technological and medical advancements.

For Kynningsrud Prefab, which is supplying the concrete frames for the expansion, Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde represents their largest order to date, valued at around 290 million SEK.

At Pretec, we’re supplying embedded and installation components, including welded plates, lifting systems, connection systems, spacers, and sleeves.
