We support Kungälv – For a stronger local community

We are proud to support local initiatives that help strengthen community spirit and create better opportunities for people in our home municipality. By sponsoring associations and projects in Kungälv, we want to make a difference for both young and old – whether it’s about promoting children’s and youth activities, supporting local athletes, or contributing to inclusive community projects.

Our philosophy is simple: we believe in giving back to the place where we operate and growing together with our local community. Through our efforts, we don’t just want to be visible in Kungälv – we want to be an active part of what makes our municipality an even better place to live and thrive.

Agora

In collaboration with Kungälv Municipality, IFK Kungälv launched a social project in spring 2022 with the goal of engaging children and young people locally in Kungälv. The activities are designed to offer kids fun and physically active play sessions at the end of the school day, without focusing on any specific sport or competition. Through Agora’s activities, children and young people gain a natural meeting place where they can be active, build a sense of belonging, and experience community.

The Social Contract

Since 2016, Kungälv Municipality, together with businesses, healthcare, public authorities, and civil society, has been actively working with social sustainability through Kungälv’s Social Contract. The purpose is to increase inclusion in Kungälv, where joint efforts have developed ideas on how to collectively contribute to a socially sustainable community for the residents of Kungälv Municipality.
