- The injection tool is a double-walled injection pipe. The tool’s inner pipe is connected to the rear end of the packer and to the injection hose from the injection pump. The purpose of the injection tool is to transport grout under pressure through the packer into the sealed borehole in front of the packer. The tool’s outer pipe connects to the packer’s locking rings and allows compression of the rubber by pushing the outer pipe forward relative to the inner pipe, which compresses the packer and expands the rubber. All components of the packer unit can be used at an injection pressure of up to 100 bar.
