The injection tool is a double-walled injection pipe. The tool’s inner pipe is connected to the rear end of the packer and to the injection hose from the injection pump. The purpose of the injection tool is to transport grout under pressure through the packer into the sealed borehole in front of the packer. The tool’s outer pipe connects to the packer’s locking rings and allows compression of the rubber by pushing the outer pipe forward relative to the inner pipe, which compresses the packer and expands the rubber. Maximum 50 bar. The connection features a quick coupling (claw coupling) and a valve rated for PN50 pressure class. This is the only part of the injection system that cannot be safely operated above 50 bar; the injection pump must be locked and sealed to prevent it from delivering more than 50 bar.
