- The geonet is a rock mesh with a reinforced erosion mat for rock, soil, and erosion protection. It is manufactured with a three-dimensional polymer matrix extruded onto a double-twisted steel wire mesh. The metal-coated wire can also be extruded with an additional polymer layer. The reinforcing hexagonal steel wire mesh offers higher mechanical performance than those specified in EN 10223-3. The wire features a Zn-Al 5% (galfan) coating according to EN 10244-2, Class A.
