Flourishing initiative
On an empty field that was once just farmland, a sea of flowers and herbs is now beginning to bloom – a living example of how companies can take concrete responsibility for the environment.
Behind the initiative stands Pretec and Vice CEO and co-owner Anders, who, together with colleagues, saw an opportunity to make a difference. By transforming one hectare of land into a blooming meadow—free from pesticides and planted with native species—they are now creating a habitat for insects, field birds, and wildlife, while hopefully inspiring others both inside and outside the company.
In an interview, Anders shares the background of the project, which plants were chosen, how the impact is being monitored, and why this small field could create ripples beyond Pretec’s boundaries.
