Information about customs duties on threaded rods
On October 17, 2024, the European Commission launched an investigation into the potential introduction of anti-dumping duties on certain types of headless threaded screws.
At present, the investigation covers two customs codes: 7318.15.42 and 7318.15.48.
If the Commission’s investigation results in the introduction of anti-dumping duties on goods falling under these codes, Pretec reserves the right to pass the full customs cost on to you as the customer.
Customs duties may also be applied retroactively on goods already imported, and our right to pass on the customs cost also includes any such retroactive duties.
